1) Do I need hourly earnings and DVZ?
No. Hourly earnings are for days 1–14. DVZ is used only from day 15 (if sickness lasts 15+ days).
2) Why hours for employer compensation?
Employer compensation covers missed working time (hours). ČSSZ benefits are paid per calendar day.
3) I don’t know DVZ — what now?
Use the helper: 12-month income ÷ calendar days (basic estimate). Official DVZ may differ (excluded days).
4) Does DVZ affect days 1–14?
No. DVZ matters for ČSSZ sick pay from day 15. Days 1–14 are employer-based and hourly.
